@'core duo' vs. 'core 2 duo'

I guess most of u, reading this post, aren't familiar with the difference. In fact not many might be aware that these are two different dual core processors. I myself got to to know about these two different processors, when i went to look for a laptop to buy.
Now, for those of u still interested, in layman's terms there is only one difference. Core 2 duo is about 30% faster than Core duo. Technically also there is not much difference, both have same production process, fit in same sockets etc. etc... The only difference is in the silicon architecture they use, which gives Core 2 duo better, more sophisticated processing speed.
There is not much difference in the pricing either.That is why Core duo is becoming extinct in the market. Anybody paid attention to the phenomenon before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey u forgot to mention that core duo is 32 bit and core 2 duo is 64 bit ... leave the reply in comment if u find it otherwise
